Renewable Energy business celebrates 11 years at Energy Fair with booth, workshop and party

Pomona, IL – Advanced Energy Solutions joined less than 300 vendors last weekend for the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair showcasing at their booth the latest renewable energy pricing and products.

Aur J Beck, chief tech for Advanced Energy Solutions exclaimed, ” It really amazes me the pricing on solar now. With a drop in price of 30% from a year and a half ago and our 11% off for our 11th Anniversary my quotes for solar are energizing. I did a quote for an engineer’s house in November of 2008 for a 1 kw system and just requoted him a 3 kw for the same cost.”
The 21st annual Energy Fair brought 20,000 people from all over the world to explore, network, celebrate, and learn about renewable energy and sustainable living.

Bringing 14 people from our company to the Energy Fair to learn, teach, network and just have fun with renewables made it so Advanced Energy Solutions was well connected.

Katie Thomas states,” Not only was this a great opportunity to showcase our company and do networking but the fun of meeting people from all over the world who are involved in renewable energy just makes me know working with renewable energy is real.”
The Energy Fair featured around 200 workshops throughout the three-day event. The workshops ranged from basic, intro level workshops to hands-on education on topics covering everything from energy efficient appliances, renewable energy technology, green building, and sustainable landscaping. Aur got to do a workshop about Living Off Grid due to his 18 years of doing just that. Advanced Energy Solutions was originally started in June of 1999 and is now one of leading trainers of installers across the Midwest.

In biz for 11 years

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

June 4th came and went and we almost forgot to say Happy Anniversary to ourselves.

We are following the Native American tradition of giving presents on an anniversary by having a 11% off the already low price (30% less than last year) Sale .

Happy 11th Anniversary everyone!

Yes we have been installing full time since June 4th of 1999 (last decade). Come celebrate with us at the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair (June 17-20)

Although our chief tech has been living off grid for 18 years of his life he didn’t intend to become so addicted to solar. It is however much better than being addicted to oil.

Many people are talking about oil addiction these days. Did you know that there is a 12 step for that? Go to IamanOilAddict.org and if you don’t want to admit you are addicted (that is the First step) go to  OilAddict.org

For serious in depth planning by the Rocky Mountain Institute go to Reinventing Fire.

Midwest Renewable Energy Fair-the worlds largest comes June 17th

Monday, May 24th, 2010

The largest energy fair in the world will be taking place in Custer, Wisconsin in the middle of June (June 17th-20). The fair is in its twenty-first year while this is our 11th year having a booth there. I (Da Energy Mon) will be doing a lecture there with Dan Alway about Living Off Grid; North & South. Dan lives off grid in Michigan and I have lived off grid for 18 years in Southern Illinois. We bring the different perspectives and challenges of living off grid in very different climates. We are actually very entertaining as we educate.

For more info on the fair go to: http://www.the-mrea.org/energy_fair.php.
